Concern GRANIT Joint Stock Company successfully passed a multi-stage comprehensive expert selection in 2026 and received the prestigious status of "National Champion".
The expert selection is organized and conducted annually by the non-governmental Innopraktika Development Institute in cooperation with RVC JSC (a Russian venture capital company affiliated with the Russian Direct Investment Fund) with the direct support of the Association of Fast-Growing Technology Companies (National Champions) and experts from the Institute of Innovation Management at the Higher School of Business of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. This initiative is being implemented on the basis of the methodology of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, which initially initiated the project as part of the implementation of the priority area "Support for private high-tech companies leaders".
The main strategic goal of the National Champions project is to ensure faster growth rates of domestic private high-tech companies with high export potential in order to qualitatively increase the country's technological independence in the context of implementing a long-term government policy of import substitution.
The assignment of this status confirms the high dynamics of the economic development of Concern GRANIT JSC, the uniqueness and import-leading nature of its scientific and technical base, as well as the key role of the enterprise in ensuring the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation. Inclusion in the project provides the company with organizational assistance in accessing existing tools of state support for development institutions, as well as information and consulting support on expanding activities in the domestic market and export support.
